KIEV, June 29 – The production of fuel bricks, granules and other types of alternative solid fuel in 2010 will grow by 50-67% to 450,000-500,000 tons, according to the Ukrainian Association of Alternative Solid Fuel Producers.

"At present about 50 projects for the production of fuel from renewable energy sources are ready to be launched. And many private companies install boilers that use solid fuel, especially those with own sources of raw materials," a report cited Association Head Ivan Nadein as saying.
