KIEV, June 21 – Ukraine's Finance Ministry plans to raise about UAH 800-900 million through the introduction of a 5% tax on individuals' income from bank deposits, Deputy Finance Minister Tetiana Yefimenko said.

"If we take the past three years, this should be UAH 800-900 million – not more than UAH 1 billion," she told reporters on Monday, saying that the amount depends on the amount of the deposit base and the forex rate of the hryvnia.
