KIEV, June 18 – Ukraine will contribute to strengthening the European Union and without it "the grand European project" won't be complete, Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryschenko said at a meeting with Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite and Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius on Friday.
"A common misconception exists in the EU that Ukraine is a big problem and a challenge for a united Europe. Ukraine, on the contrary, is a factor that can significantly increase the EU's competitiveness with other centers of global economics and politics," said the Ukrainian foreign minister.
