KIEV, June 18 – Improvement of relations between Ukraine and Russia is a key factor of stability in Eastern Europe, which fully meets the interests of the European Union, Germany's Bundestag President Norbert Lammert said during a meeting with a Ukrainian parliamentary delegation led by Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn.
For his part, Lytvyn, according to Parliament’s press service, noted positive points of the agreement signed by the Russian and Ukrainian presidents in Kharkiv. In particular, he stressed that these agreements have helped get the budget process moving, raise predictability of the economic development, including in power supply area and market principles of price formation in energy sector.
