KIEV, June 4 – President Viktor Yanukovych has said he wants Mariupol Illich Steel Mill to remain in the ownership of its workers and is planning to visit the enterprise in future.
"I instructed Ukraine's prosecutor general and the Security Service of Ukraine chief to investigate this issue [of the company's privatization] together. We want the company to remain in the ownership of its workers. A part of the shares is owned by the management, and another part belongs to the chairman of the board, Mr. [Volodymyr] Boyko," he said.
