KIEV, July 18 ??“ The second storage facility for waste nuclear fuel at Chornobyl nuclear plant will be commissioned no earlier than 2010.

"Today the situation is very difficult and according to the most optimistic estimates, the second storage facility for waste nuclear fuel will be launched in 2010, not in 2005 as planned some time ago," chairman of the State Committee for Nuclear Regulation of Ukraine Olena Mykolaychuk told Interfax-Ukraine.
