KIEV, June 3 - ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih, jointly with Siemens VAI, has announced the launch of construction of a continuous casting machine (CCM) with a production capacity of over 1.2 million tons of steel per year.

The company said on Wednesday ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih CEO Jean Jouet and Siemens VAI Metals Technologies GmbH & Co CEO Werner Auer exchanged the copies of the signed contract.

According to the document, target date of the start-up of the CCM is September 2011.
