BRUSSELS, June 1 – The Energy Community (EC) hopes to gauge Ukraine's progress towards gaining membership of this organization, while the Ukrainian side, in turn, has assured the EC it will continue joint work, EC Secretariat Director Slavtcho Neykov said in an interview with Ukrainian journalists in Brussels.

He also noted that a group of EC representatives had arrived in Kiev on Tuesday. The group, he said, is planning to meet with Fuel and Energy Minister Yuriy Boiko and analyze the adoption of a law on the gas market.
