KIEV, May 31 – Ukraine on Monday joined the international community by expressing “concerns” over the deadly Israeli commando raid on ships carrying humanitarian aid to the blockaded Gaza Strip.
The raid in international waters left nine activists dead and wounding dozens, after at least one of six ships had resisted orders to stop the convoy.
“Special concerns are caused by the fact that the weapons have been used as a result of which the people have been killed,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
