KIEV, May 31 – The Finance Ministry has drawn up a draft law on the taxation of luxury objects, including the introduction of an annual tax of UAH 20 per square meter, exceeding 300 square meters of living space for payment by owners of elite apartments, according to Finance Minister Fedir Yaroshenko.

"The draft law stipulates the introduction of a special regime of taxation of elite property: apartments of over 300 square meters, and houses over 500 square meters. The tax would be set at UAH 20 for each additional square meter," he said in an interview with the Facts newspaper.
