KIEV, May 28 – Ukraine may put off an issue of eurobonds scheduled for the end of June if the situation in the eurozone continues worsening, said Olha Bashynska, director for the Finance Ministry's state debt department.
"The problems in the European economy and the so-called European debt crisis have resulted in the worsening of the situation on the capital markets, and correspondingly with a yield on eurobonds… If the situation in the eurozone continues worsening, we don't rule out the possibility of postponing the issue of Ukrainian eurobonds," Bashynska said in an article published in the government's Uriadovy Kurier newspaper.
