KIEV, May 14 – There won't be interruptions in gas supplies to Europe through Ukraine, President Viktor Yanukovych said in an interview with the BBC.
"Ukraine has a stable gas transportation system for gas supplies to Europe and a 10-year agreement with Russia on the volume of supplies, [and] price parameters. There are no grounds to worry that gas supplies to Europe could be irregular," Yanukovych said.
Yanukovych noted that the issue of modernizing Ukraine's gas transportation system requires certain calculations.
