KIEV, May 12 – Some elite watch stores in Kiev were closed due to the absence of required customs clearance declarations and violation of trade rules, according to first deputy STAU head and tax police head, Viktor Sheibut.

"Maybe you have noticed that stores that sold brand Swiss watches are closed. The interesting fact is that such watches are sold at stores for $50,000-500,000, but the customs bodies do not have any information about any such expensive watches passing through the Ukrainian border in the past three years," he said in an interview with the Kontrakty weekly.
