KIEV, April 29 – The Ukrainian Energy Exchange has been created for the sale of electricity, according to a report in the Uriadovy Kurier government newspaper.

The announcement says that the Ukrainian Energy Exchange was created in pursuance of a concept on the functioning and development of the Ukrainian wholesale electricity market approved in cabinet resolution No. 1789 of November 16, 2002.
