KIEV, April 29 - Ukraine has agreed to move up to 10 million metric tons/year of crude oil coming from Venezuela to refineries in Belarus, which seeks to reduce overall dependence on Russian oil.
President Viktor Yanukovych, after six-hour talks with his Belarusian counterpart Aleksandr Lukashenko in Minsk late Thursday, said the plan was “great.”
“We will be happy to work on implementing your plan over the Venezuelan oil,” Yanukovych said at a joint press conference with Lukashenko.
