KIEV, April 26 – The Ukrainian government expects to get $19-20 billion from the International Monetary Fund within the next two-and-a-half years, Deputy Prime Minister Sergiy Tyhypko said in an interview with the Ekonomicheskie Izvestia (Economic News) newspaper.
"However, these are our wishes, and the figure has not been agreed yet. The IMF has so far not given a clear answer," he said.
On April 21, Tyhypko said that the amount of the fund's funding for this period could be $12 billion.
