KIEV, April 20 – Ukrainian travel agencies have expressed doubts that compensation will be paid to tourists who had to prolong their trips abroad due to the cancellation of flights due to volcanic ash.

"As for possible compensation, there is no the exact answer. The position of Ukrainian travel agencies would be a mirror reflection of the position of hotels and airlines. If [hotels and airlines] reach an agreement on returning funds to tourists, travel agencies will also do something," reads a press release spread by the Association of Leaders of Tourist Business of Ukraine on Monday.
