KIEV, April 19 - The government of Ukraine wants to get a signed addition from Russia to the January 19, 2009 contract concerning Gazprom guarantees to transit at least 110 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas through Ukraine's pipelines, and a clarification of real transit-gas volume for this year, citing what it sees as non-fulfillment on Gazprom's part.
This stipulation is to be found in a document on 'Actual issues for talks with the Russian side to introduce changes to the Contract on natural gas sales-purchases in 2009-2019 and the Contract on volumes and terms for gas transit through Ukrainian territory in the period from 2009 to 2019', the text of which is published in the Dzerkalo Tyzhnia (Mirror Weekly).
