KIEV, April 19 – The European Union has presented modern equipment for identifying residues of veterinary preparations in food products to the Lviv regional state laboratory of veterinary medicine and the state research institute of veterinary preparations and feed additives.
The mass media and information department at the European Union's representative office in Ukraine reported last week that this equipment will enable Ukraine to meet European and international requirements regarding identifying residues of veterinary preparations in food products of animal origin. The project is implemented with financial support of the EU within the framework of the "Safety of food products" component of the "SWAP-RURAL" Project.
