KIEV, April 14 – Ukraine in Q1 increased electricity exports by 34% or by 304.8 million kWh compared to the same period in 2009, to 1.202 billion kWh, the Fuel and Energy Ministry announced.

The increase in electricity exports was linked to the fact that the Ukraine resumed electricity exports to Belarus, of which the share of total electricity exports in the first quarter was 56.2%, the ministry said.
