KIEV, April 14 – The temporary administrator at Rodovid Bank, Serhiy Scherbyna, said that the financial situation at the bank is very difficult due to the fact that assets of Ukrprombank under liquidation worth UAH 6.9 billion have not been transferred to the bank.
"Rodovid Bank took unsecured Ukrprombank's liabilities and has to fulfill them using funds from capitalization. A decision of the National Bank of Ukraine [NBU] to liquidate Ukrprombank would not allow the transfer of Ukrprombank's assets worth UAH 6.9 billion. Ambages with the transfer of Ukrprombank's assets to Rodovid Bank have led to Rodovid Bank's losses: the net loss of the bank in 2009 came to over UAH 4 billion," Scherbyna told Interfax-Ukraine.
