KIEV, April 9 – Debt for VAT reimbursements is continuing to grow, which threatens Mariupol Illich Steel Mill’s stable operation, chairman and director general Volodymyr Boiko said.
"At present UAH 1.5 billion has been drained from the mill's circulating capital due to the non-reimbursement of VAT. The issue has been raised with the cabinet jointly with Donetsk Region Governor Anatoliy Blyzniuk. After Easter, we intend to send a telegram to the premier and president to again inform them about the difficult situation at the Illich mill and the necessity to return VAT every month," he said at a meeting of top managers and specialists of the mill.
