KIEV, April 8 – Finance Minister Fedir Yaroshenko has been authorized by the Ukrainian government to borrow funds abroad and conclude respective loan agreements.

A corresponding decision is stipulated in cabinet resolution No. 818 dated April 7.

The government notes that the Budget Code holds that if a law on the national budget for the current budget year has not been passed, borrowings could be carried out only to repay state debt principal except for the cases connected with bank capitalization and the outlays of the national budget's stabilization fund.
