KIEV, April 7 – Ukraine considers cooperation with Kazakhstan to be one of the priorities of its foreign policy in Eurasia, President Viktor Yanukovych said.
"We consider the strengthening and development of our relationship with Kazakhstan as one of the [most] promising directions of our foreign policy in the Eurasian zone," he said at a joint press conference with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Astana on Wednesday.
Yanukovych also noted that during the negotiations, the sides had agreed to hold annual meetings of interstate commissions in order to draw up concrete proposals on bilateral cooperation.
