KIEV, April 7 – National Energy Company Ukrenergo has announced the holding of an auction for access to Ukrainian interstate power lines to make electricity exports for the period from May 1 to May 31, 2010.
According to a posting on the company's Web site, access to 2,185 MW was divided into 16 unequal lots.
In particular, five lots of 270 MW are for the export of electricity from the Burshtyn energy island to Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. Two lots of 215 MW to export electricity from Dobrotvirska heat power plant to Zamosc (Poland) were also put up for sale.
