KIEV, April 6 – EnergoAtom, Ukraine’s biggest power producer, increased power output by 17.1% on the month to 7.99 TWh in March, up from 6.82 TWh in February and up from 7.59 TWh produced in March 2009, the company press service said Tuesday.
In January through March EnergoAtom produced 22.83 TWh of power, up 2.5% year-on-year.
EnergoAtom, state-owned nuclear power producer, incorporates four nuclear power plants that run a total of 15 nuclear power reactors with capacity of 13,835 MW. EnergoAtom produces a half of Ukraine’s total power output.
