KIEV, March 30 – The creation of a full closed cycle for the production of energy-saving light bulbs and solar power plants on the basis of Lviv-based Karat scientific center as a part of an investment project under realization will require state support in the form of a UAH 150 million beneficial three-year credit, specialists say.

The issue was discussed at a meeting of Deputy Industry Minister Vitaliy Nemilostivy with specialists from the Nauka scientific and industrial concern and Karat center in Lviv. Participants discussed the creation of industrial production of energy-saving light bulbs on the basis of super-light LEDs and the production of solar batteries on the basis of tandem nano-hetero-structures.
