KIEV, March 26 – Ukraine will seek to extend cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for two more years after the $16.4 billion two-year Stand-by loan program ends in November, a senior official said.

Iryna Akimova, the top economic advisor to President Viktor Yanukovych, said there was “positive signal” from the IMF.
