KIEV, March 23 – The Ukrainian government has set itself the task of improving domestic payment discipline for energy and liquidating debts in the Energy Market state company as soon as possible, First Deputy Prime Minister Andriy Kliuyev told Interfax-Ukraine.
He said that with the arrival of the government headed by then-Premier Viktor Yanukovych in 2006, the debt of Energy Market worth over UAH 1 billion was almost eliminated, although today the credit pyramid has expanded.
