KIEV, March 19 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has launched a research project to study the consequences of the migration of Ukrainian workers to European Union countries in order to determine its influence on the Ukrainian economy, German international broadcaster Deutsche Welle reported on Friday.
The project, entitled "Migration and its consequences in Ukraine," was initiated by the government of the Czech Republic, as a large number of Ukrainians have in recent years moved to the neighbouring country to find jobs there. The EBRD supported such a non-profit project, because large-scale migration from Ukraine is also being seen in many other EU countries.
