KIEV, March 18 - Ukraine could offer LPNs in May or June, but the volume of any placement has yet to be decided, Deputy Finance Minister Andriy Kravets said at a briefing.
However Ukraine will have to pass its 2010 budget and resume cooperation with the International Monetary Fund first, Kravets said.
"As soon as the budget is ready, as soon as the document in which all macroeconomic indicators and the country's prospects for development for this year are clearly defined is passed, we'll be ready to enter the foreign markets... The public offering could be conducted in May-June, according to an optimistic forecast," Kravets said.
