KIEV, March 9 - Arcelor Mittal Kryviy Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region) announced it will increase wages to employees by 2.57% on April 1.
"The increase would concern hourly rates and bonuses – it was announced at a joint meeting of the mill's leadership and trade unions' committee held on March 5," company said.
The company said that the increase was agreed with trade unions and is the third stage of a wage increase drive started in early 2010. Wages rose by 11.43% from January 1 and by 2% from February 1 (the total increase over the three stages is to be 16.58%).
