KIEV, March 3 – The growth in production in the Ukrainian industrial sector in 2010 is estimated at 7-10% compared to 2009, Industry Minister Volodymyr Novitsky said at a briefing at the cabinet club on Tuesday.
The minister said that taking into account the results of work in 2009 and positive trends of industrial recovery in early 2010, the ministry, in particular, forecasts a 10-12% rise in production in the metals area, and a 20-25% rise in the engineering sector, apart from in the car building sector.
