Gazprom books fraction of additional gas transit capacity via Ukraine
MOSCOW, Aug 16 – Gazprom has booked a mere fraction of additional firm transit capacities through Ukraine for September offered at auction by the Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU), according to the results of the monthly Regional Booking Platform auction on Monday.

Fitch revises outlook on four Ukrainian banks to ‘Positive’ from ‘Stable’
KYIV, Aug 16 – Fitch Ratings has revised the outlooks on four state-owned Ukrainian banks to Positive from Stable and affirmed their Long-Term Issuer Default Ratings (IDRs) (Long-Term Foreign-Currency and Long-Term Local-Currency) at 'B'. The affected banks are PrivatBank, Oschadbank, Ukreximbank, and Ukrgasbank.

USDA lowers Ukraine’s oilseed exports forecast in 2020-2021
KYIV, Aug 13 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in August lowered the forecast for the 2020/2021 marketing year (MY, September-August) for the export of major oilseeds from Ukraine by 1.3 million tons as compared to the forecast in July – up to 4.6 million tons, increased the forecast for the export of oilseeds in the current agricultural year by 0.1 million tons - up to 5.81 million tons.

AmCham says concerned how Ukraine treats foreign investors
KYIV, Aug 13 – The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (the AmCham) is concerned about the biased and unfair treatment of foreign investors in Ukraine, which may lead to the consideration of the dispute in the framework of international arbitration.

Ukraine may replace Chinese honey on EU markets, UN’s FAO says
KYIV, Aug 13 – The renewal of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine next year can give a new impetus to the development of the Ukrainian honey industry, strengthen the country's position in the EU market and reduce its dependence on the supply of Chinese honey, which now forms about 40% of the total supplies in this direction, national consultant to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Hanna Burka has said.
