Ukrainian gas traders to test gas exports route to Central Europe

KYIV, Jan 28 - Ukrainian gas traders have begun preparing for testing gas exports to Central Europe after the approval by the National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER) of the temporary tariffs of Ukrtransgaz for the transportation of natural gas for entry and exit points.

NBU worsens 2018 inflation forecast to 8.9% on commodity price hike

KYIV, Jan 25 - The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has worsened the inflation forecast for 2018 to 8.9% from 7.3%, according to the central bank's website.

"The National Bank predicts that in 2018 inflation will remain high: 8.9% total inflation and 8.2% underlying inflation," the report said.
