Nuclear fuel at Zaporizhia NPP is about to expire, Energoatom warns
KYIV, Jan 29 – Soon, the six-year period allowed by the manufacturer for the presence of nuclear fuel in all six reactors of the VVER-1000 power units of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhia NPP will expire, in connection with this a new threat to nuclear and radiation safety may arise.

EBRD approves EUR 200-mln loan to Ukrhydroenergo for critical equipment
KYIV, Jan 29 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has approved the provision of a sovereign-guaranteed loan of up to EUR 200 million to Ukrhydroenergo to finance the supply of critical equipment to its hydroelectric power plants and support the company's liquidity.

Ukrainian corn prices reach seasonal high of $216/ton DAP at Odesa port
KYIV, Jan 27 – Prices for Ukrainian corn delivered to the ports of Greater Odesa reached a seasonal high for some time, as its limited supply on the market, together with the delay in sales by producers, raised prices to $210-216/ton on DAP terms (the seller bears the risks for the cargo until it is delivered to its destination), while a week earlier this figure was $205-212/ton.
