EBRD’ seeks EUR 4-bln in capital increase to finance Ukraine projects
KYIV, Nov 15 – The Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on Wednesday recommended that the bank's governors approve a paid-in capital increase of EUR4 billion in order to ensure a significant and stable volume of investment in Ukraine now and in the future.

Ukrenergo, GE seek to build STATCOM devices, high-voltage substations
KYIV, Nov 15 - Ukrenergo and General Electric signed a memorandum of cooperation providing for joint actions on the research and implementation of projects for the installation of STATCOM devices, construction and modernization of high-voltage substations, said chairman of the board of Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytsky.

Ukrainian companies boost 94.5% on year consumption of rolled steel in Jan-Oct
KYIV, Nov 16 – Ukrainian enterprises in January-October of this year increased consumption of rolled metal by 94.51% compared to the same period last year, to 2.904 million tons.
According to a press release from the Ukrmetallurgprom association, during this period 937,500 tons were imported, or 32.29% of the domestic market for rolled metal consumption.

Ukraine now sends 59% of its ag exports to Europe, up from 32% a year ago
KYIV, Nov 16 – Since the beginning of Russian aggression, Ukraine has been forced to change the geography of exports of agricultural products, as a result of which the share of Europe in January-October 2023 reached 59% compared to 32% in 2021, the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB) reported on Facebook.

IAEA’s Grossi says it’s possible to set up security zone at Zaporizhia NPP
KYIV, Nov 16 – The security protection zone around the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) in its narrower sense as nuclear safety is possible and realistic, but it is not yet possible to name specific dates for its creation, negotiations are ongoing, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi said.
