Anti-trust committee gives PepsiCo OK to acquire Russian juice maker

KIEV, Jan. 14 - Ukraine's anti-trust committee has given PepsiCo the go-ahead in the acquisition of over half the stock in leading Russian juice and dairy product producer OJSC Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods, the committee said.


Lysychansk oil refinery may halt operation due to competition

KIEV, Jan. 14 - Lysychansk oil refinery (LINIK, Luhansk region) could be halted due to unequal competition on the market with fuel from Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, the press service of Kiev-based TNK-BP Commerce Ltd. has told Interfax-Ukraine, commenting on a statement of TNK-BP CEO in Ukraine Felix Lunev in an article in the Dzerkalo Tyzhnia (Mirror Weekly) newspaper.


Government reports 42% ferrous metal export increase for last year
