Naftogaz retains New York law firm to press claim against Russia
KIEV, Jan. 16 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny on January 11 retained Covington & Burling LLP, a New York law firm, for $6.31 million, to represent its interests in arbitration against Russia under a claim over losses it incurred as a result of the annexation of Crimea by Russia. |
Trade turnover with China will near $10 billion in 2013, says PM
KIEV, Jan. 15 – Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said he hopes that trade between Ukraine and China will reach $10 billion in 2013.
According to the Ukrainian government's press service, Azarov said this during a meeting with China's National Defense Minister Liang Guanglie. |
IFC to issue up to $85 million to expand OKKO eastern Ukraine chain

EBRD, Raiffeisen to loan companies money to buy John Deere equipment
KIEV, Jan. 16 - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, jointly with Raiffeisen Bank Aval (a subsidiary of Austria's Raiffeisen Bank International) and John Deere, a leading global manufacturer of agricultural machinery, have announced the launch of a program to provide small and medium agricultural companies with John Deere agricultural machinery. |
