Anti-inflation measures could curb output, economy minister warns
KIEV, March 17 - Tough anti-inflation monetary measures could lead to a fall in industrial output, according to Economy Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn.
"In the short-term, the use of tough monetary measures for the sake of cutting inflation would only lead to a fall in industrial activity," Danylyshyn said. |
Parliament approves UAH 28.5-bln drinking water program through 2026
KYIV, Feb 16 – Parliament approved the launch of a nationwide program to provide Ukrainians with drinking water through the development and reconstruction of centralized water supply and sanitation systems in settlements throughout the country in 2022-2026, in total, UAH 28.59 billion will be provided for its implementation from the budgets of all levels.
