Ukrainian window manufacturers resume production as demand is high

KYIV, April 15 – More than 80% of Ukrainian window factories have resumed production, Oleksiy Bubnov, the Executive Director of the Association of Window and Facade Market Participants, told Interfax-Ukraine.

Geneva court orders Russia to pay $44.4-mln to Ukrnafta in Crimea compensation

KYIV, April 16 – The International Court of Arbitration (Geneva) has ordered to pay $44.4 million by the Russian Federation in favor of public joint-stock company Ukrnafta as compensation for the seizure of the company's assets in annexed Crimea.

Russia's Gazprom sharply increases gas transit via Ukraine

KYIV, April 16 – Russia's Gazprom in the past week sharply increased volumes of natural gas transportation to Europe using the Ukrainian pipelines – by 60 million cubic meters a day or 25%, reaching around 300 million cubic meters a day, Naftogaz Ukrayiny CEO Andriy Kobolev said.

Chinese firms to drill seven wells for Ukrgazvydbuvannia after winning tender

KYIV, April 16 – Two Chinese companies have won a tender of public joint-stock company Ukrgazvydbuvannia to attract external contractors to drill seven wells at three fields announced in March. The Ukrainian company saved 10.7% on the cost of drilling services: the cost fell from the expected UAH 1.988 billion to UAH 1.776 billion (VAT included).


Croatia, Ukraine to cooperate in LNG terminal, supply route

KYIV, April 16 - Croatia sees Ukraine in a group of countries for which the LNG terminal on the Croatian coast can contribute to the diversification of gas supply, the press service of Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze has reported, following the first meeting of the joint Ukrainian-Croatian commission on economic cooperation in Zagreb on Monday.


Sefcovic says Ukraine’s gas pipelines are strategic for EU security
