NBU moves to ease restrictions on foreign credit transactions
KIEV, March 28 – The National Bank of Ukraine has mitigated some requirements for foreign credit transactions until June 8.
The NBU also permitted the use of investment accounts of nonresident investors to send funds that banks owe them for a separate currency transaction, the central bank has reported on its website.
The decision is outlined in NBU resolution No. 192 dated March 24 that amends NBU resolution No. 140 dated March 3. |
Naftogaz Ukrayiny reports 51.5% increase for 2015 net revenue
KIEV, March 29 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny saw a 51.5% rise in net revenue in 2015, to UAH 112.672 billion.
According to an unaudited financial report published on Monday, revenue from gas wholesale last year reached UAH 66.866 billion, from gas transit – UAH 45.471 billion and other operations – UAH 424.722 million. |
Ukraine wage arrears rose 7.5% last month, government reports
KIEV, March 26 - The total sum of wage arrears in Ukraine rose 7.5% in February, the State Statistics Service reported.
According to the service, wage arrears on March 1, amounted to UAH 1.575 billion, or 5.2% of the monthly wage fund for February, while wage arrears on February 1, 2015 amounted to UAH 1.466 billion, or 5.1% of the monthly wage fund for January.

Moody's downgrades DTEK to Ca from Caa3; maintains negative outlook
LONDON, March 27 - Moody's Investors Service has downgraded to Ca from Caa3 the corporate family rating and to Ca-PD from Caa3-PD the probability of default rating of DTEK ENERGY B.V. Moody's has also downgraded to Ca from Caa3 the senior unsecured bond ratings of DTEK Finance B.V. and DTEK Finance Plc, fully owned
finance subsidiaries of DTEK.

Oschadbank to start updating Soviet-era depositor registers
KIEV, March 29 – The State Savings Bank of Ukraine (Oschadbank) from April will start updating data on registers of Soviet era depositors, to whom the state is planning to pay compensation of UAH 1,000 per person by the end of the current year. |
