USDA sees lower Ukraine’s wheat output, exports in 2020/2021

KYIV, May 14 – The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) released the first forecast for grain crop in the 2020/2021 marketing year (MY, July-June), according to which the wheat crop will be 28 million tons in Ukraine.

KIEV, May 14 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has worsened its forecast for the fall in Ukraine's GPD in 2015 to 7.5%, while in January 2015 the bank assessed the fall at 5%, EBRD Principal Adviser for External Affairs Anton Usov told Interfax-Ukraine, referring to the EBRD forecast which was published on Thursday.


Japan sends 348 Toyota Prius cars for Kiev and Odessa police patrols

KIEV, May 15 – As part of the Green Investment Scheme, Japan has transferred 348 Toyota Prius cars to the Interior Ministry for use by the new patrol police service in Kiev and Odessa.
