Ukrenergo holds first competitive special auction for acquisition of services

KYIV, Aug 15 - Ukrenergo at the first competitive special auction for the acquisition of services for the provision of a fast frequency containment reserve for 5 years, according to preliminary results, bought out all the necessary 99 MW of capacity in each hour, said head of the company's board Volodymyr Kudrytsky.


Russian gas transit via Ukraine remains at maximum possible level

KYIV, Aug 15 – Transit of Russian gas through Ukraine remains at the technically maximum possible level.

"Gazprom supplies Russian gas for transit through the territory of Ukraine in the volume confirmed by the Ukrainian side through the Sudzha gas metering station (GIS) – 42.4 million cubic meters as of August 15. The application for the GIS Sokhranivka was rejected," Gazprom reported.


Ukraine's GDP accelerates growth to 4.4% in July 2024 from 3.1% in June
