Ukraine works on three-tier system to protect energy infrastructure
KYIV, Dec 13 – The State Agency for Reconstruction and Infrastructure Development is implementing a three-tier system for protecting energy infrastructure, Head of the State Agency for Reconstruction and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine Mustafa Nayyem said at the final meeting of the team of the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development with diplomatic missions and the public in Kyiv on Tuesday.

EBA worsens tax regime assessment in Ukraine to 2.85 points in 2023
KYIV, Dec 14 – Members of the European Business Association (EBA) worsened their assessment of the tax regime in Ukraine to 2.85 points out of 5 possible compared to 2.97 points in 2022, only 8% of respondents said that it contributed to their development, according to the results of a new wave of the EBA Tax Index survey released on Thursday.

Ukraine’s medical mask prices drop as supply increases, report says
KYIV, Dec 15 – The wholesale price of medical masks at large Ukrainian marketplaces over the past few weeks has decreased from about UAH 6 to UAH 1.5 per mask, and in pharmacies masks have fallen in price to an average of about UAH 3.5, which is almost three times lower than November prices.

Ukraine produced 65.4-mln mt of grain in 2020, minister says
KYIV, Dec 15 – In 2020, Ukrainian agricultural producers harvested 65.4 million tons of grain and legumes from an area of 15.3 million hectares. The operational data of the regions on the results of the harvesting campaign was announced on Tuesday by Minister of Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture Ihor Petrashko.
