NBU approves regulation for ‘synthetic loans’ between creditor, borrower

KYIV, Feb 16 – The National Bank of Ukraine approved regulations allowing synthetic loans, instruments denominated in hryvnias, while all payments between the creditor and the borrower are settled in foreign currency.


EBRD to issue $50-mln loan to Nibulon to expand grain exports logistics

Germans propose holding economic forum for investors in Kiev

KIEV, Feb. 16 – The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany has proposed that an economic forum is organized and held in Kiev, where Kiev will present projects in which German investment could be involved, Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said in Munich after a meeting with GermanFederal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Gerd Muller.

KIEV, Feb. 16 – The surplus of Ukraine's foreign trade balance in 2014 was estimated at $3.88 billion, after it shrank by $370 million in the fourth quarter, the State Statistics Service reported on Monday.

Kiev bank limits ATM withdrawals following skimming outbreak
