VEON says eight-day cyberattack on Kyivstar may cost $95-mln
KYIV, Jan 18 – The telecommunications holding VEON, which owns the largest Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar, assessed the financial consequences of a cyber attack that disabled the Ukrainian operator’s network for eight days: the effect on consolidated annual revenue will be UAH 3.6 billion ($95 million).

Ukraine to inspect and demine 512,000 hectares of farmland in 2024
KYIV, Jan 18 – According to the updated plan for the return of agricultural land to economic use, taking into account updated data from regional military administrations, 512,000 hectares of farmland are subject to priority inspection, clearance and demining in 2024, the press service of the Verkhovna Rada Office reported.

Ukrainian industrial sector disrupted by power cutoffs in December: Poll
KYIV, Jan 17 – The main obstacle to doing business in December was interruptions in electricity, water and heat supply, this was noted by 80% of enterprises, but since November this figure has grown by only 2%, these are the results of the seventh monthly survey of enterprises "Ukrainian business in wartime" of the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting (IER).
