NBU announces new oversight requirements for payment systems

KIEV, Feb. 17 – The National Bank of Ukraine has introduced some new requirements for payment systems oversight, participants and operators, the central bank said on its website.

Industrial production down 3.2% in January, government reports

KIEV, Feb. 19 – Industrial production in Ukraine in January declined by 3.2% year-over-year, which is better than the 7.6% decline in December 2012 from December 2011 and a 3.7% decline in November 2012 from November 2011, the State Statistics Service said on Monday.


Natural gas pipeline network on Feb. 25 summit agenda, says official

KIEV, Feb. 19 - Ukraine and the European Union will discuss modernization of the Ukrainian natural gas pipeline network among other things at a summit on February 25, an official said Tuesday.
