Reschedule or we'll default, Ukraine to tell Ukreximbank bond holders

LONDON, April 17 – Ukraine plans to tell bond holders of state-run Ukreximbank on Friday that the bank will announce it will default on its eurobonds unless the creditors agree to reschedule repayments on these bonds, the Financial Times reported.

Car importers protesting against government imposition of new duties

KIEV, April 19 - The All-Ukrainian Association of Car Importers and Dealers is preparing protests against a Trade Ministry recommendation to introduce a duty of 6.46% on cars with over one-liter engines, but no more than 1.5-liter engines, and a duty of 15.1% on cars with engines of over 2.2 liters, irrespective of their origin, for three years, said association Director General Oleh Nazarenko.
