EBRD invests EUR 5-bln in Ukraine since the full-scale war’s start
KYIV, Nov 19 - Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has invested approximately EUR 5 billion in Ukraine, approximately EUR 2 billion of which has been directed to the implementation of energy projects, including in the field of renewable energy, said Associate Director, Senior Banker of the Bank's Energy Department Olga Yeriomina.

Ukraine’s economic growth slows down to 1.1% in Oct vs. 4.4% in Sep
KYIV, Nov 19 – The growth rate of gross domestic product (GDP) of Ukraine in October slowed to 1.1% against 4% in September and 4.4% in August 2024, which is due to the pace of harvesting, according to the Monthly Economic Monitoring of the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting (IER).

Polish protesters reduce by 25% traffic from incoming Ukrainian trucks: EBA

OTP Bank may issue loans to 100 Ukrainian firms via USAID projects
KYIV, Nov 16 – More than 100 micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) will be able to receive preferential loans as part of OTP Bank's cooperation with USAID under the Financial Sector Reform project, Pavlo Huzyr, head of alternative sales channels projects of OTP Bank's Agrofabrika, said.

Ukraine to approve 13 power projects among priority investments
KYIV, Nov 19 – The government-approved list of priority investment projects for the state for the period up to 2023 includes 13 power projects.
As reported on the website of the Ministry of Energy on Thursday, two of the power projects relate to the development of nuclear industry – the construction of power units No. 3 and No. 4 of the Khmelnytsky nuclear power plant (KhNPP-3, 4), as well as the creation of a data center at the facilities of the National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom.
