Oschadbank, WNISEF launch cheaper lending to social enterprises

KYIV, July 28 – Oschadbank, in partnership with the U.S. Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF), is launching concessional lending to social enterprises from eastern Ukraine at 5% per annum, the bank's press service said on Tuesday.


Ukrtelecom unhappy about Supreme Court ruling over contract with Oshchadbank

KYIV, July 26 – Ukrtelecom is disappointed with the decision of the Supreme Court to recognize as legal a contract with Oschadbank to buy ESU bonds in the amount of UAH 1 bln plus interest from it and states that the contract cannot be actually executed without a significant harm to the company's activities.

Danyliuk backs Groysman’s idea for new competition to develop Dolphin gas field

KYIV, July 29 – National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Danyliuk has supported the initiative of Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, who intends to propose Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers review the possibility of announcing a new competition for developing hydrocarbon deposits in the Dolphin sector of the Black Sea shelf under the terms of a production-sharing agreement (PSA).

NBU: Ukraine’s producer price index to increase 7.6% on year in 2019

KYIV, July 26 – Producer prices in Ukraine in 2019 will grow by 7.6%, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) said in its updated forecast in the inflation report, whereas it predicted 8.2% growth of producer prices in its earlier forecast in April.
